T-10 days until I start at NASA. Yay!!!
Pretty quiet day. Did a lot of reading - my mail is finally being forwarded correctly, so I had several weeks worth of magazines to catch up on - and a little housework, then went to late lunch/early supper (Vietnamese... super-yummy) and perused the offerings of Northern Virginia with a friend.
Tomorrow: catch up on postcards, complete insurance paperwork, and prepare a preliminary expense report for the conferences I want to attend this year. Another semi-quiet one; kind of nice after so many days of go-go-go!

Sorry I didn't write earlier, but thank you so much for the packages. Tyler and Sophie have enjoyed reading the new books. They were super excited about the ice cream too, until they tried it (the looks were comical). :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are having fun. I saw Beth's comment on Facebook about visiting in October, and I think that if you are there next year, that we should plan a girls weekend! That would be SO fun!! It's been much too long since we have seen you or really chatted.
